We are delighted to share with you some of the eco-friendly ways we create easy-to-make gift tags. 

We save all of our favorite card covers we receive from friends and loved ones. Cut the card cover along the seam and hole punch the upper left corner of the cover. Thread your ribbon through the hole and tie it to your present. Pretty winter scenes on holiday cards, whimsical flowers on other cards make beautiful tags for your packaging.

Another idea we love is to use nature as your gift tag. A fall or summer leaf can be written on with a permanent marker. Slip the leaf into your ribbon.

It's always appropriately stylish to make a card out of the same paper you are using to wrap your present. The important thing is that you should just use what you already have and be creative with it.  There are no errors when it comes to not being wasteful!
